Good news from Napa County EOC this morning. Nuns fire is not advancing past Dry Creek Road west of town. They advise there is no fire threat to town at this time.
Fire crews with bulldozers have constructed fire breaks in the hills west of the Veterans Home and along fire front near Oakville Grade. Strike teams remain stationed at Veteran Home for defensive purposes. Significant fire resources are on site on the ground and in the air fighting these fi...res which remain within established fire perimeters.
Napa County EOC will be stopping morning and afternoon press briefings as they are shifting from fire fighting mode to recovery mode.
