Subject: Town of Yountville Gathers to Celebrate Yountville Boards, Commissions, and Volunteers

Yountville’s Town Council hosted its annual Board, Commission, and Volunteer Recognition Dinner at Yountville’s Community Center on February 28, 2018.

The Council and town staff joined together to honor the 70 plus dedicated volunteers who serve on various boards, commissions and who volunteered at the Town Library or one of our Park & Recreation programs. Mayor Dunbar, Vice-Mayor Dorenbecher, and Council Members Mohler, Durham, and Dorman recognized the volunteers for providing many hours of service to our community. Those who were honored are:

Measure A Oversite – Michael Bunch

Napa County Library Commissioner – Scott Owens

NCTPA Active Transportation Advisory – Michael Costanzo

Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission – Sandy Fagan, Verlin Chalmers, Kara Scoggins, Paul Marciniak, Carol Shirmang

Yountville Arts Commission – Kimberly Cook, Jim McDonald, Dee Heizer, Marty Wordsworth, Liz Hauer

Zoning & Design Review Board – Kimberly Cook, Barbara Allen, Jarrod Denton, Kerrin Laz, Mikael Tigrett

The Town Council reiterated that it is the dedicated time of these volunteers to Yountville that made a difference in making Yountville a wonderful place to live. The Council also thanked Hurley’s Restaurant for providing outstanding meals and Jessup Cellars and Bardessono Vineyards for providing wines.
