The Town Council invites those who cannot attend one of the three (3) public input meetings to discuss the draft Strategic Plan to provide their feedback using an online survey. This survey will be available until 5:00 p.m. on Friday April 7, 2017. Responses to the survey are anonymous.

There will be three (3) public input meetings held over two days on April 6th and April 7th facilitated by The Novak Consulting Group. The first meeting on April 6th will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and the second meeting will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. These meetings will take place at the Yountville Community Center. The third meeting will be held on April 7th from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the Town Council Chambers. All meetings will be identically structured.

The Town of Yountville has partnered with Service Line Warranties of America (SLWA) to offer protection for homeowners for external sewer lines. The coverage is voluntary and available at affordable monthly or annual prices.

Low Pressure Water For Yountville Water Customers; Water service interrupted for Customers at Yountville Cross Road and Silverado Trail
The Town received a call shortly after 1:15 p.m. from staff at the Rector Reservoir Treatment Plant operated by the Veterans Home, that they have a leak on the 18 inch line that serves the Town’s (and Veterans Home) drinking water. The Town has switched over to the City of Napa’s water supply for the time being to allow for the Veterans Home staff to make repairs.

O&M Backflow Services, a contractor working with the Town of Yountville’s Utility Operations Staff will be conducting a door to door survey of properties beginning the week of May 8, 2017 and continuing through the month of June. The Town as a public water utility is required to ensure that the water distribution system is protected from potential contamination.

Back by popular demand! Mr. “E” Bunny will be hosting Breakfast with Bunny beginning at 8:30 am on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Yountville Community Park. Donuts, juice, chocolate milk and coffee will all be available for purchase. After the breakfast, families are encouraged to attend the Free Annual Egg Hunt.

April Showers may bring May showers, however this year it will bring a MINI SUMMER (May and June) session of GOLDEN TICKET programming. The Golden Ticket Membership has brought over 75 participants to the Community Center at a minimum of three days a week. Registration for the Summer Mini Session begins April 18, 2017.

Earlier this year, The Town of Yountville launched Envision Yountville, an effort which will culminate in an update to the Yountville General Plan. General Plans are policy documents that guide the future development for the Town, including what will and will not be encouraged for future housing, business, open space and transportation options in the community. The next step in the Envision Yountville process is the formation of a Community Advisory Group.

It’s February, and that means more winter storms! An atmospheric river (“Pineapple Express”) is expected to bring significant amount of rain over the next few days to our area. Due to the saturated ground conditions from previous storms, run-off could potentially lead to localized flooding. These areas may include: Vineyard Park, and the areas along the Flood Wall. Beard Ditch and Hopper Creek may back up as well.

Yountville Cross Road Paving Project Update - Work to Resume with a Road Closure to Include Local Traffic Only
Here comes the Sun! Over the past month, the rain has delayed the paving progress on Yountville Cross Road. Contractors need a full six day window of rain-free weather for the paving to be complete. The Town is pleased to announce that on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 paving will begin on Yountville Cross Road.

Due to the rainy weather, the tennis courts at Vineyard Park are ‘wrinkled’ and therefore create an uneven playing and potentially unsafe surface. They will be closed until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate your understanding.
