    The Yountville Town Council is seeking community volunteers to serve on the Yountville Arts Commission and Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission. Yountville Representatives on Countywide Boards are also available.


  • Low Pressure Water For Yountville Water Customers; Water service interrupted for Customers at Yountville Cross Road and Silverado Trail

    The Town received a call shortly after 1:15 p.m. from staff at the Rector Reservoir Treatment Plant operated by the Veterans Home, that they have a leak on the 18 inch line that serves the Town’s (and Veterans Home) drinking water. The Town has switched over to the City of Napa’s water supply for the time being to allow for the Veterans Home staff to make repairs.

  • Cancellation of Boil Water Order for 35 Out of Town Water Customers

    The Town of Yountville – Public Works: Utility Operations Division in conjunction with the California State Water Resource Control Board has determined that, through abatement of health hazard and comprehensive testing of the water, this water is safe to drink. It is no longer necessary to boil tap water or to consume only bottled water.

  • Areas Impacted by Heavy Rainfall – Sandbagging Station Open at Yountville Community Park

    This current storm front is dropping significant amounts of rain in a short time duration. Town Public Work crews are monitoring and removing debris and putting up signage to advise motorists to use caution when driving.

  • Town Water Department Issues Boil Water Alert to 35 Out-of-Town Customers

    This alert applies to out-of-town water customers only. Due to a water main rupture at Rector Reservoir Water Treatment Plant operated by the Veterans Home of CA, the State Water Resource Control Board, Division of Drinking Water in conjunction with, Napa County Environmental Health, and the Town of Yountville, Public Works Department are advising residents with Addresses in the areas of 1465-1558 Yountville Crossroad and 6293-7174 Silverado Trail to boil tap water served from the Town of Yountville or use bottled water for drinking and cooking purposes as a safety protection.

  • Paving on Forrester and Jasmine on Friday December 2, 2016

    On Friday December 2, 2016 contractors will be repairing pavement on Forrester and Jasmine due to a previous water main break. This work will take place between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Forrester will be down to one lane and Jasmine will be closed at Forrester.

  • Water line repair to occur on Thursday 12/1 on Yount Street Between Starkey and Adams

    On Thursday December 1, 2016, the Town will have a contractor repairing a leak in the service line at the water main in the north bound lane of Yount Street between Starkey and Adams. This repair work will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will tentatively end before the weekend. Traffic control will be in place to divert vehicles around the work.

  • Please Help Us Keep Yountville and Our Streams Clean

    In an effort to keep the Town clean and to comply with storm water regulations set forth by Phase II of the Bay Area Storm Water Management Association and the Town’s NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Eliminating System) permit, we are asking residents, employees of local businesses and visitors to please keep all trash and recycling off the ground and in the designated trash or recycle can. This includes cups, napkins, wrappers and cigarette butts.

  • Restroom Floor Renovations at Vineyard Park and Yountville Community Park

    Beginning the week of November 14, 2016, the restrooms at Vineyard Park, Yountville Community Park and the Community Pool will undergo renovations! The Town will be installing new floors that will make it easier to maintain and clean, and are more sustainable.

  • Microsurfacing Improvements To Begin November 8, 2016

    Due to the rainy weather over the past few weeks, the Town has postponed the microsurfacing project. With clear weather in the upcoming forecast, the Town has made the decision to begin the project starting on Tuesday November 8, 2016.

    Due to rainy conditions, the Town of Yountville Parks and Recreation Department will be moving our last movie of the 2017 season inside! Join us this Friday, October 28 at the Yountville Community Center, 6516 Washington Street (Heritage Room). The movie will begin at 7pm. We have chairs available for use but feel free to bring your own as well as blankets to make yourselves comfortable. Pets are not allowed.

  • Changes to Street Sweeping Frequency

    It is fall! Due to the leaves falling from the trees the Town will be sweeping the entire Town beginning this Friday and every Friday thereafter for approximately two months. This will allow the Town to keep the streets clean and debris free from clogging storm drains. We ask that you do not park in front of your home or business from 6:00 a.m. to 12 noon to allow the street sweeper to do its job!

  • Microsurfacing Postponed due to Inclement Weather

    On Thursday October 20, 2016 the Town issued a media release indicating that microsurfacing would be performed this week. Barricades were placed and door hangers were distributed for residents living on Humboldt, Oak Circle, Oak Leaf Court, Harvest Court, Heritage Way and Heritage Court. However, due to the impending rain, the project is being rescheduled, and the barricades will be removed. The Town will provide an update as soon as more information is available. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation!

  • Microsurfacing Improvements

    On Monday October 24, 2016, the Town will be performing repairs to our microsurfacing project. Microsurfacing improves the surface of the roadway and also extends the service life. This work will be completed by Tefler Pavement Technologies as warranty repair work for the microsurfacing project that was completed in 2015. The areas to receive the repairs will have “no parking” signs on barricades set up 72 hours prior to work being performed.

  • Town Relaxes Water Conservation Rules Beginning October 31, 2016

    Beginning October 31, 2016, the Town will be relaxing water conservation guidelines from mandatory to voluntary efforts. To date, the Town has reduced consumption by 28.1% as compared to the 2013 benchmark. This is no small accomplishment – the success of the Town’s water conservation is largely in part because residents and businesses took action by following (and often exceeding) the mandatory guidelines.

  • ADA Sidewalk Trip Hazard Repair to Begin Monday October 10, 2016

    On Monday October 10, 2016 through approximately Wednesday October 12, the Town will be removing tripping hazards on select sidewalks as part of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sidewalk program and to provide a safer pedestrian experience.
