  • Town of Yountville Update as of Thursday, October 12 2PM

    Yountville Fire Update - 10/12/17 2:00 p.m. The Partrick and Nuns Fire on Mt. Veeder has grown more active and the smoke volume has significantly increased and is much more visible. The active fire has crossed the ridge in proximity of Mt. Veeder Road, The fire has not reached Dry Creek Road.

    Fire condition in Yountville remains unchanged. Yountville is not threatened. Four active fires are ongoing in Napa County at this time. We continue to monitor the progression of the Nuns Fire from Sonoma County that has pushed up Mt. Veeder.

  • Community Center Trash Enclosure Construction to Begin October 9 to November 18, 2017 - Possible Parking Spots Impacted

    A new trash enclosure is being built at the Community Center! Construction will begin on October 9, 2017 to approximately November 18, 2017. The construction site for the enclosure is located at the rear of the Community Center in the northeast corner of the parking lot.

  • Heritage Oak Tree Removal; Path to Reopen After Work is Completed

    At the September 19, 2017 Town Council Meeting, the Yountville Town Council approved Resolution 17-3430 regarding the health and safety of the Hopper Creek “Grandfather” Heritage Oak Tree which authorized removal of the tree due to its declining health and safety impacts on adjacent property.

  • Hot Weather Event Beginning August 31, 2017 for Extended Period

    Higher than normal temperatures are expected over Labor Day weekend, beginning Thursday August 31, 2017 and ongoing through next week. The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory and excessive heat warning and is forecasting temperatures to exceed 100 degrees during this time with no exact timing for duration. The Town of Yountville’s Community Center will be open during the following times to offer a place to cool off. The Community Center is located at 6516 Washington Street. Please check with the front desk to verify the exact room location.
