This current storm is producing similar flooding outcomes as experienced on Sunday. The Yountville area is experiencing Napa River flooding which will result in flooding along the eastern border, Vineyard Park, and the areas along the Flood Wall. Beard Ditch and Hopper Creek will back up as they have nowhere to go when the streams reach the river. As a result, this time, the rise will likely be quicker and potentially higher depending on when the rain stops so that the river can go down. Current projections are for the Napa River to reach 2 feet above flood stage by mid-afternoon. Washington Street south of Town, Ragatz Lane area south of Town will likely flood and impact Highway 29.
