(NAPA, Calif--) With temperatures expected to reach above 100°F degrees in some parts of Napa County this week, Public Health Officer, Dr. Karen Relucio, encourages residents to prepare for the hot weather. “When temperatures are high, we want everyone to stay cool, hydrated and informed,” said Dr. Relucio. “Although nearly everyone is uncomfortable in high heat, some people are more vulnerable than others.

The Town of Yountville invites the public to attend a formal dedication of the mural on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Park amphitheater area. The Yountville Community Swimming Pool will open for its 2017 summer season on Saturday, June 17th. The Pool is open Tuesday through Sunday for adult lap swim, senior swim, recreational swim time and swim lessons.

Join us in celebrating the retirement of “Miss Carol” Rasmussen after over 11 years as a Recreation Coordinator with the Town of Yountville. Carol has been instrumental in the lives of most children and families who have come through Yountville Elementary or enrolled in Camp Y-Ville for the past 11 years. Miss Carol’s official last day is June 9, 2017.

Hopper Creek Path Along Heather Street Closed From June 12 to June 23, 2017 For Pathway Surface Replacement
The pathway along Heather Street from Mulberry Street to Oak Circle Park, including the pedestrian bridge will be closed from June 12, 2017 to approximately June 23, 2017 for renovations. Parking may be impacted along Heather Street during this project as well. Once completed residents will be able to enjoy a fully ADA accessible (American’s with Disability Act) path.

O&M Backflow Services, a contractor working with the Town of Yountville’s Utility Operations Staff will be conducting a door to door survey of properties beginning the week of May 8, 2017 and continuing through the month of June. The Town as a public water utility is required to ensure that the water distribution system is protected from potential contamination.

Back by popular demand! Mr. “E” Bunny will be hosting Breakfast with Bunny beginning at 8:30 am on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Yountville Community Park.
