Yountville Connection

February 23, 2024 Edition

Thank You to Our Volunteers!

In Yountville, community volunteers play an indispensable role in fostering a sense of unity, support, and vibrancy within the town. Their dedication and selflessness contribute significantly to various facets of community life, from organizing local events like Music in the Park and beautifying public spaces with art to providing essential services for those in need through work on the Yountville Community Foundation.

Our volunteers embody the spirit of generosity and civic engagement that defines Yountville. Their collective efforts not only enhance the quality of life for residents but also strengthen the bonds that tie the community together. As Town Manager Brad Raulston aptly said, "Our volunteers truly are the heart of Yountville." Indeed, in Yountville, the invaluable contributions of volunteers help create the pulse of a thriving and interconnected community.

Last night, the community came together to honor the dedication and hard work of these volunteers at the annual appreciation dinner. It was especially inspiring to see the youth volunteers be recognized for their dedication! This wonderful night was filled with heartfelt gratitude, laughter, and camaraderie as we gathered to express appreciation for their service. It's a time to reflect on the impact these volunteers have had and to celebrate their contributions that make Yountville such a special place to call home.

The annual appreciation dinner serves not only as a token of gratitude but also as a reminder of the power of community and the importance of coming together to support one another.
