[ARCHIVED] Caution Flooding - Hopper Creek at Oak Circle

Black and White TOY News Flash 500 x 300

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a flood watch for parts of Napa County. According to the NWS, the flood watch will be in effect through early Saturday, November 23.

Potential impacts include rising creeks, rivers and streams, flooding and ponding of roadways, downed trees and branches, and isolated power outages. Stay off the roads if possible. Sandbags can also prevent or reduce water damage from flooding.

Hopper Creek has overtopped at Oak Circle.  Oak Circle is flooded east of Hopper Creek.

Residents who need to leave via Oak Circle are encouraged to park their vehicles outside of the neighborhood beyond the Oak Circle Heather Street intersection.

The Town’s Sandbag Station is open at the south end of Veteran’s Park for self-serve sandbags.

Town Hall and the Town public services are open and available from 8 am to 5 pm and will be on-call for the duration of the storm. Please exercise caution when driving and avoid flood-prone areas if possible.
