The Town of Yountville is excited to announce a new Mardi Gras Parade & Celebration on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Come join us for the wildest, wackiest, and most bead-filled parade of the year! We're throwing a party like no other, and you’re invited to shake your tailfeather, catch some beads, and live your best CARNAVALE life for the day!

“We are thrilled to offer a Napa Valley celebration of Mardi Gras with festive fun for all ages and a Yountville flair!” shared Samantha Holland, Director of Parks and Recreation in Yountville.

The goal of the parade and celebration is to bring our community together in a new way as we wrap up the town’s anniversary month and celebrate all that Yountville has to offer. Spring is a beautiful time in Napa Valley. Enjoy the mustard blooms, green hills and crisp fresh air along with colorful floats, glittery glam, epic costumes and music as well as many fun beads and other throws during the parade! Many of Yountville’s businesses will be offering special menus and events, and the celebration at Yountville Community Park until 4 PM promises to be lively and fun!

We encourage all businesses, community groups and individuals to get involved in the parade. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the parade! Walking, biking and horse groups, car clubs, marching bands and the more traditional parade floats are all encouraged. Yountville local businesses and groups are encouraged to apply for a $1,000 grant sponsored by the Hotels & Inns of Yountville. The grant is intended to make it easier to participate by offsetting supplies costs, costs of vehicle rentals or additional staffing. The grant will be offered to the first 20 approved float applications. More information can be found at www.yountvillemardigras.com. Cash prizes will be awarded to those selected as the top entry in their category by our guest judges. The deadline to send in your parade application is February 21, 2025.

Following the 1 PM Parade that will travel north on Washington Street from California Drive to Madison Street; a celebration will take place in north Yountville at Yountville Community Park. Live music by the GUMBO BAND, children’s activities, festive food and drinks will be offered until 4 PM. This event is free and open to everyone.
