The Town of Yountville extends its gratitude to the community for actively engaging in the recent town council study sessions that took place over the course of October, November, and December. These sessions were dedicated to exploring crucial topics such as climate health, safety, housing, and strategic planning, setting the stage for the upcoming Council Goal Setting Retreat on January 30, 2024.

Community members play a vital role in shaping the future of Yountville and you are invited to share insights through a short questionnaire. The valuable information gathered during the study sessions and through the questionnaire will guide future priorities.

The study sessions covered the following key areas:

Health: Conversations addressed public health concerns, providing a platform to share thoughts on community well-being and initiatives for a healthier town.

Climate: Discussions centered around environmental sustainability, resilience, climate action, and ways to support a pathway for a greener and more sustainable future.

Safety: Community members shared their thoughts on law enforcement, emergency preparedness, public health, and how to help enhance safety measures for all residents.

Housing: The housing session addressed affordability challenges and discussed policies for inclusive and accessible housing options.

Strategic Planning: Conversations focused on the town's overall vision and direction, offering input on key priorities, initiatives, and strategies.

Community members are encouraged to visit the Town Council Strategic Planning page on the town's website. The current Strategic Planning Framework and Critical Success Factors are available for review and consideration when responding to the questionnaire. If you have questions or need assistance, please email townclerk@yville.com or call Town Hall (707) 944-8851.
