Power has been restored in Yountville and we are still awaiting reports from PG&E on the specific cause. We know their crews are working hard throughout the region as many remain without power. We want to thank all of those that care for our safety, including our Public Works employees who kept the stormwater flowing through town while addressing any local tree issues. Huge shout out to those who staffed our “charging station” with power and coffee at the Community Center, and Arik Housley from Ranch Market Too who offered some pastries and snacks. These emergencies teach us valuable lessons about resiliency and communications. We have a regularly scheduled Town Council meeting today at 3 p.m. and will have discussion about the power outage at the end of the meeting.
