The Town of Yountville is looking for a motivated and skilled Utilities Operator I/II to join our Public Works team!
If you’re passionate about keeping vital water and wastewater systems running smoothly, enjoy hands-on work, and want to serve the community, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do:
🔹 Operate, inspect, and maintain water wells, treatment facilities, and storage systems
🔹 Monitor and optimize wastewater and recycled water systems
🔹 Perform lab tests, sampling, and troubleshooting
🔹 Use specialized tools, equipment, and vehicles in daily operations
🔹 Keep accurate records and help ensure safe, reliable water for our residents
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Utilities Operator I: Entry-level candidates with a Grade I Water or Wastewater Certification (or ability to obtain within set timeframes)
✅ Utilities Operator II: Experienced operators with Grade II Water/Wastewater Certification and advanced technical knowledge
✅ Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
✅ California Class C driver’s license
