Submit FPPC-required forms

Overview

The Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) ensures transparency in California government. The FPPC requires elected officials, board and commission members, and certain Town employees to file public forms disclosing financial interests, appointments, and campaign-related activities.

This page explains how to meet your FPPC reporting requirements in the Town of Yountville.

Need to know

  • Form 700 (Statement of Economic Interests) is required annually for Council and appointed officials

  • Form 806 reports appointments that come with additional pay

  • Public officials under Government Code Section 87200 must follow stricter disclosure rules

  • All forms are filed with the Town Clerk and become public records

  • Older filings may be requested from the Clerk or the FPPC

Before you start

If you're an elected official, commission member, or Town staff in a designated role, you may be required to file one or more FPPC forms. Be sure to check:

  • Which forms apply to your role

  • When your filing deadline is

  • Whether you’re considered a 87200 filer (e.g. Mayor or Councilmember)

The Town Clerk can help confirm what’s required. Review the Town's adopted Conflict of Interest Code.
